Description
Polyhydroxy Acid (PHA) blend in glycerin and enhanced with honey, is a progressive exfoliator that is kind to the skin. It is milder than glycolic acid but with the restoring benefits of hydroxy acids. Just like alpha hydro acids (AHA's), this product is an effective keratolytic, that refines the stratum cornea via a calcium ion chelation process, strengthening the epidermis by boosting cellular cohesion, and redensify the dermis via their action on hyaluronic acid and collagen synthesis. Due to the larger molecular size structure, with multiple hydroxy groups, means that their action is more progressive and have a substantial capacity to retain water and an antioxidant effect similar to that of vitamin E and C. The concentration of PHA is 23-27%.

Use
