They can consist of hydrocarbons like isododecane, isoeicosane and isohexadecane, or also from natural substances like jojoba, lanolin, or oat meal. Specialty emollients are widely used in basically all personal care product and color cosmetics, sometimes in place of natural oils or often also in combination with natural oils.
